About Aoki & Matsumoto is a strategic thinking graphic design studio. We develop brand identities, campaigns, websites and print products for customers in the commercial, cultural, and editorial sector. We believe that we can only achieve successful brand development through listening and observation. This is why we like to start every new project with a good talk. Aoki & Matsumoto is headed by Paale Lüdcke and Tobias Friedberg — visual communications professionals trained at Hochschule für Gestaltung Offenbach, the university of applied sciences in Darmstadt and in real life. Based in Frankfurt, Germany, we have been working under our hawaiian inspired moniker since 2011 and have been serving a variety of clients around the world. We have gained several awards – diploma in graphic design, Judoka Gokyu 5th Grade, SLSGB Beach Lifeguard qualification and Vice Champion Hessian Little League Baseball, among others.
